Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Memodrop (“the Service”), operated by Kvikk AB, a Swedish limited company (“we”, “us”, “Memodrop”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

The Service

Memodrop lets you create projects with shareable links where others can record and submit voice memos. Submissions are transcribed and summarised automatically and delivered to your inbox.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for everything that happens in your projects. Keep your login secure and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.

Acceptable use

• Only collect recordings from people who know they are being recorded and how the recording will be used.
• Do not use the Service for unlawful, harassing, hateful or infringing content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or abuse the Service.

Content

You own the recordings and transcripts in your projects. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them solely to provide the Service. Automated transcripts and summaries may contain errors; review them before relying on them.

Plans, billing and retention

The Free plan shows memos for 7 days; files are deleted 30 days after they are hidden. Premium is billed monthly or yearly in advance and keeps memos for as long as your subscription is active, plus 7 days after it ends. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, who is the Merchant of Record for all orders and handles billing enquiries and returns. See our refund policy.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
